Lviv is the only Ukrainian city that has saved medieval plan structure of the central part, has more than 2000 sights of architecture which are connected with the history of laying and developement of the city and state. An internatioonal recognition of Lviv was adding of ensemble of historical buildings of the central part of the city to the List of World Treasure of UNESCO (on the 2nd of December 1998 on the 22nd session meeting of IKOMOSU in Kioto).
